Bulgaria's Liberation day, a bit controversial, as this was the day a preliminary peace treaty was signed between the Ottoman and Russian empires, which planned to just replace the Ottoman rule here with a Russian one. We have better holidays than this one. However the cheesecake is not connected to the holiday - I have a birthday soon. 🙂
