Miami Vice was everything@ohmu I used to watch it avidly as a kid, and even now it generates tremendous nostalgia for me.
But it's not the same, I want to believe it's not copaganda, and I could argue it isn't but... Yeah, it's not the same. Or most likely I am not to same.

I had the same issues.
For one thing, Don Johnson's, um, "acting" kind of took me out of the story.
But, yeah, the copaganda problem.
It was one of the first shows I remember to paint cops and what they do with some shades of gray. That was something. But that gray counter narrative was mainly a kind of nihilistic cynicism.
I remember learning my then-libertarian-and-now-Maga cousin found the POV appealing and thinking "something is wrong". -

@cwebber one interesting element of this is Aveta is on blacksky, which i understand to be a completely independent service provider. So this user is being emailed that they are in violation of a TOS that they arguably aren’t even party to.

Highguard is shutting down after only a few weeks, thus completing its Concord-like arc.
There should be a name for a genre of live service games where you can only play them for a few weeks before everything shuts down.
I suggest “DOA-as-a-service”.
