You don't write what kind of problem you have so it's pretty difficult to help you.
Anyway, Linux doesn't need any PhD.
Have you tried asking for help on your distribution forum community?

oldest kid is sick. i want to set him up on an audiobook. we bought a kindle fire for kid content. it’s set up using my amazon account. i have an audible subscription.
problem: the tablet is set to my amazon (US) account. i cannot for the life of me get it to sign into my amazon (Canada) account.
no one involved in making this device ever thought this was possible
