@tomjennings @crisps @bruces most of the cell-phone generation and younger do not have a globe... nor any actual paper maps for that matter. :-)

@tomjennings @crisps Google earth (not maps) is a virtual globe.
I think having a globe is very useful.
I've got a theory where if you are convinced that Greenland or Russia are much bigger than they really are, something bad can happen to all of us -
