i sat on this exchange almost a day but im still pissed off so now i shall complain about it. on my post in which i mentioned the repertoire of contralto castrati, who had deep voices unaffected by testosterone puberty, had piqued my interest (making no mention in the post of my own gender) i got this drive by reply. benign enough, if clearly entirely ignorant of my situation,

here's where it gets absolutely infuriating. i acknowledge their generic platitudes and mention that my voice is indeed a physiological abnormality (my resting pitch is 3 standard deviations from what's normal for an adult who has not experienced testosterone puberty) not realizing they had set a rhetorical trap. their smug reply "congratulations" implies i am absurd for claiming to have a deep voice due to the existence of trans women. because of the rhetorical framing they themselves provided

realizing I'd been tricked (how is it allyship if you have to trick people into saying the wrong thing??) I replied

"to be clear you don't need to lecture me that it is common for women to have bass range voices. I know that. However it is highly uncommon for cis women to have bass range voices"

in a reply they later deleted they wrote "I don't feel lectured. Do you feel lectured?"
