@aeva I dunno. You can put bandaids on your cuts, but that doesn't mean you should eat them.
Super glue wasn't invented for closing wounds though. It was accidentally created while some guys were trying to come up with a plastic material for lenses, and I think it was used as a general purpose glue for a long time before it was accepted as a way of closing up cuts
