Entiendo que la UE tiene muchas cosas a mejorar en sus organismos para conseguir que la voz de la ciudadanía sea representada fielmente... ¿Pero te das cuenta de lo grave que es decir lo que dices? ¿De cómo banalizas lo que es una dictadura?

Y luego nos duchamos las manos a la cabeza con la extrema derecha y lo que propone, y algunos os pasáis tanto de rosca que acabáis banalizando también las dictaduras (por el otro lado).

You forget about European Parliament elections.

There are plenty of democratic challenges in the EU, including that EP elections are considered second order so people use them to vote on national issues. It's not a perfect system, but it's not a dictatorship either.

Electing leaders indirectly rather than directly is common in democracies. According to your logic Sweden is a dictatorship.
