What do you think of when you hear the word #Ocarina?
A. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
B. pre-Columbian South/Central American instruments.
C. Clay flutes from around the world: xūn, etc.
D. Italian #ClassicalMusic.
The #Instrument was invented by Giuseppe Donati in 1853 for playing classical repertoire, but ocarina quickly became a catch-all term for similar clay flutes.
This is Gruppo Ocarinistico Budriese with Sonata by C. Avati.
