However, this functionality isn't available by default on WordPress.com's free plans. You'll need to upgrade to a paid plan that supports installing plugins.

I pay for ghost for now but also mastohost because ghost doesn't have mobile app (or hashtag) support yet AFAIK.

We are also heavily working on bringing a better reader experience to WordPress, but this might take some more weeks/month.

I recommend you to read and subscribe the @activitypub.blog to get pinged on every new release and the general progress!

@pfefferle This is awesome. Matthias, you’ve been really amazing at bringing ActivityPub and the Fediverse to WordPress and moving it forward. I’m excited that I’ve started to do more work in this space, which you can see here on my blog. I want to see more and more people take ownership of their content.
