Good morning Fedi friends! I hope you're having a nice weekend so far.
Yesterday some dear friends got married at city hall... They asked me if I could take a few photos. Certainly!
It was so much fun to get back to my first love: photography. I took 1064 photos... now narrowed down to 53 favorites.
Maybe my 2026 resolution should be to pick up photography work again. I love it so much. Funny how people were profusely thanking me yesterday. I was like, no no no, you're doing ME a favor 😆

I can't encourage you enough. And there's one way to give your return to photography a major boost: get a good photo printer! It did it for me. We have forgotten the joy and deep satisfaction of high quality prints, and it's not as expensive as most people think! -

@sashin yes but I post 0.1% of my photos there because... privacy, consent, etc.
My best photos of the past 5 years are portraits of my child, which I would never ever publish online 🥲

@jalefkowit there's a handful of musicians that are just kind of perfect. They've continued to be really cool, interesting, and relevant through decades, and someone I always want to hear talk about music. Marr is one of them. Stewart Copeland, Nile Rodgers, and Pino Palladino spring to mind as other examples.
