    @borntyping Anthropic CEO was just tweeting that developers will no longer be writing code in six months, and yet, they just threw a bunch of money at Bun to acqui-hire a bunch of developers. Either he was lying about the "no developers in six months" thing, or he's a phenomenally stupid business man. Bun is MIT-licensed, if Claude can improve and maintain it, or will be able to in six months, why spent all that money on people to do it?

    @shlalon Yes, I perfectly understand your point. Samba can be a good choice, there. Also consider that illumos based OSes natively support SMB on ZFS, so this is another option.For a use case like yours, I'd go with Samba on FreeBSD or native SMB on illumos.
