What's the farthest you would go to see a concert?
-
@evan basically anywhere that's a direct flight from my city. There is only one international flight from here (soon to be 2). So I chose "own country."
-
@evan I would legitimately travel off-planet to see some bands, if I could afford it.
Actually, I don't think it would matter what the band was 😁 🚀
-
I've only once made a transcontinental journey to see a concert, but that was when I lived across an ocean from London.
Now I go up to London or Paris once per year or so for a gig.
My own country is more of a monthly/weekly thing, given that I commute across cantonal borders anyway.
-
@evan Own planet. I am from a very small country (Denmark) and live right next to a border. I have gone some times to Sweden and Germany for a concert.
-
@evan missing a "own continent" option ^^'
-
@evan does "region" go across country borders?
-
@evan realistically i’d say ~800km one way would be the maximum, so anywhere between western europe and dnipro river west coast. if i have at least one friend coming with me, tho? own universe
-
Depends how flush I am at the moment, what country the concert is in (save or not so much) and how bad I wanna see it but if all these things check out then global

-
@evan Own city but mostly owing to financial restrictions. If budget weren't a concern then probably anywhere in Western Europe, I'd gladly take an excuse to ride trains across the continent all day(s)
-
@evan Own apartment. Maaaaybe own neighborhood.
-
@evan does "region" go across country borders?
-
@evan with 60 miles (or even just 2 miles) to the next country it's not an ideal question :D
I have in the past travelled 1200 miles for a concert and I'd do it again :D
-
@evan where's the "i gave up going to concerts decades ago" option?
