Just got back home. I drove through the fog, not too bad in town, but the moment I left the city it turned into a wall of nothingness. I even struggled to find my front door, though I eventually made it inside. The key barely worked too, which is odd since it never gives me trouble.
I take off my jacket and I can't find my coat rack. Weird. Then I notice a stranger on my couch. Except that is not my couch. And this is not my living room. This guy has changed all the furniture in my house. How did he manage that in just a few hours?
Alright, terrible joke, I'll stop. Pretending I walked into the wrong house is peak dad joke...

I had an experience far too similar,
and my errant brother had one that was hilarious.
In reality, the moon had just set when I arrived at my destination in Michigan. This is a couple of decades ago, but I will not forget.
I was supposed to find the keys to my A-Frame in a boathouse, but nothing at all was visible when walked from my car to the beach.
Yes it was really dark, and this was only half way up they coast. They have less artificial light further North -

also we wonder how you, down there, can actually manage to go around with all the fog and not to get lost...surely there has to be some form of adaptive evolution...maybe antennas? XD

@ju Considering I wasn't born here, I had to adapt and it wasn't easy.
To be honest, the foggy days are quite rare, now. There used to be a lot of them 15/20 years ago, but the climate is changing. Today, it's the first really foggy day of the year. And tomorrow it will rain, so fog should disappear -

But really, from here you can see all the Po Valley under those layers of fog, if you don't think about pollution and other nasty stuff, it looks like a really mysterious and fascinating landscape.

@ju It can be. When I was younger, I loved to go out and walk when the fog was thick. It gave me a sense of silence and peace.

@ScienceDesk I use both hands, but I wouldn't call it ambidextrous. I'm kind of similarly clumsy with both hands. I write left-handed, and do most other things (play guitar, throw) right-handed. Precision things tend to get the left hand, strength things the right. And, I wouldn't say I'm particularly good at using either one. My handwriting is terrible and I can't draw for shit.
