Reader, writer, actor, cat/dog/critter lover who sometimes gets up in front of people and tells stories. I work with/for a tiny nonprofit progressive school, as their development director; I help them tell their story, too.
I enjoy cooking and chatting about cooking. I like the smell of coffee, prefer to drink tea. Will occasionally comment on/review/recommend movies or TV series.
I'm an outdoorsy person; I like to bike, hike, and swim, though I'm not competitive about it. I have a regular touring bike for when I want to challenge myself, and an ebike for commuting and local trips in good weather. I was a mountain ranger in my 20s, still like to hike mountains. We live near water, so I swim in the summer; not a fan of pools, much.
My family is amazing and a great source of joy. @dwenius is a partner like no other. Yes, I realize how lucky I am. I'm expressly anti-fascist, because apparently that needs to be said out loud now.
