I remember it being massive news when Pebble made moves to resurrect. Now they're trying to forcibly take away the grassroots dev community that kept Pebbles alive after they were abandoned by the original company.

Yay! My #Mastodon trifecta is now complete! My blue & orange (is it orange‽) #Plushtodon came in last night, & I opened it yesterday, but I was too tired to post about it as I just got off work.
But yes, I am excited that the two smaller Plushes arrived! Thanks @Mastodon for creating these!
Also…we need more #ActivityPub apps to create real world wearables or plushies, as they are great conversation starters for folks who are not familiar with the #Fediverse.

Does anyone know what software/library FUTO keyboard on Android uses for their speech to text capability?
It's embarrassingly good. Like, it puts Google to shame, and it's all done on device. It supports punctuation, and has much higher fidelity.
It would be fantastic to roll it into NodeBB as an in-browser speech to text parser.

Hey cloudron@social.cloudron.io, you guys are awesome. NodeBB has a Docker image that is community supported but Cloudron literally has one-click NodeBB hosting!

A new application called OSS Card Wallet was released a few months ago, developed by the same team that already manages the OSS Document Scanner application. OSS Card Wallet is an open source application (MIT license) designed to scan and archive all your cards.

After I formatted my phone and installed LineageOS on it, the Play Store wouldn't let me install ONEWallet, the app I used for storing cards (gift cards, memberships, etc.)
So I did some searching and discovered Catima, a nice FOSS alternative!

For us Canadians, it's Thanksgiving weekend 🦃. I spent mine (besides stuffing my face with food) on the Niagara escarpment doing some single pitch sport climbing.
