Something I said before (and felt even longer) is —
An open protocol is better than an app.
But an open file data-format is better than an open protocol.
I.e.,:

@pfefferle Ah, so this was a WordPress post being quoted on Mastodon. Since WordPress hasn’t officially released a quote feature yet, this is something that needs to be addressed.
