Would you like to see full default interoperability between #ATproto and #ActivityPub without a bridge?

@julian@fietkau.social yes you are correct as far as my limited understanding goes. My personal definition of side effect limited to "unintended consequences", which differs greatly from the ActivityStreams definition, so for my own sanity I avoid the term in my own documents 🙂

They might want to publish something that's clearer then, because it certainly sounded like they wanted to abandon ActivityPub. "MisskeyHQ (misskey.io) != Misskey" isn't particularly helpful.. lots of brand name confusion there.

#ehLabs for you feed algorithm seems pretty decent now. Definitely better than Mastodon, not as good as Threads. But Threads isn’t a fair comparison because #ActivityPub events aren’t in their main algo and are relegated to a sub menu of following feed.

It should be lightweight and efficient enough to host a small community even on a cheap server, and hopefully, be easy to hack on.tootik implements only a small subset of ActivityPub, and probably doesn't really conform to the spec.Changelog:=> https://github.com/dimkr/tootik/releases/tag/v0.19.9#Gemini #Gopher #Guppy #Fediverse #ActivityPub
