    5 Fediverse sites have been hacked due to running outdated software.Please take a moment to ensure that your instance of Mastodon, Misskey, PeerTube, PixelFed, or any other Fediverse platform is fully up-to-date.It may also be wise to log into your server and update your operating system.Debian / Ubuntu servers:sudo apt updatesudo apt dist-upgradesudo rebootFedora / CentOS / Red Hat / Alma Linux:sudo dnf update --refreshsudo dnf upgradesudo rebootIf you update your OS, your server will be briefly offline during the reboot.     If I used an object observer for a topic/context, and proceeded to delete that context, the object observer would go away too. That is, unless you're inferring that I take steps to preserve the object observer for some period of time (if not forever?)

    Introducing #Hollo. Hollo is an #ActivityPub-enabled single-user microblogging software. Although it's for a single user, it also supports creating and running multiple accounts for different topics. It's headless, meaning you can use existing #Mastodon client apps instead, with its Mastodon-compatible APIs. It has most feature parity with Mastodon. Two big differences with Mastodon is that you can use #Markdown in the content of your posts and you can quote another post.
