So it's the end of my 2nd week on #Mastodon and I'm still having a blast. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome in this strange new #fediverse
I've encountered a lot of very groovy people here. Some of them don't like mushy peas - but I'm trying not to hold it against them. I hope to meet more groovy people in the future
At the end of my first week, I shared a picture one of my #cats sleeping. So this time, here's a picture of my other #cat sleeping, so that they know I love them equally

I guess it's time to clue you in then - this fediverse is not new. It's just the old fediverse with a bit of PVC cladding on the front and a spangly new logo. Oh and two rubber plants in the lobbyDON'T GO IN THE LIFT

@rufustheduck ahh I see. I thought my brain had forgotten already ๐ค I think I had mushy peas like, once or twice in my life and must admit I wasn't a fan, but that's because I don't like cooked peas in general. Only when they're fresh from the garden ๐

@rufustheduck@mastodon.social I spent some time in the USA, a long time ago now, and once took over British food that I thought would be interesting for them to try. But, I just could not get anyone to try mushy peas. For some reason the whole concept completely freaked them out. I even took mint source to go with it. But no.... weirdos...

- I just installed AppFlowy (a FOSS Notion alternative) but I have yet to set it up and try itEdit/Update: I'm not self-hosting it but paying for Linkwarden (a FOSS Pocket alternative)

@_elena so slow, I joined Mastodon in january and already am on Meshcore now ;-). The indoctrination pipeline has accelerated maybe? Looking into Reticulum now to integrate off-grid with grid communication.

@rebelyn2 I would say follow a lot of hashtags of topics that interest you and you will find your people...
I love this about the fediverse, that you can simply follow hashtags and easily populate your feed with interesting content....
