I'm going to register a protocol handler, so links to anywhere on the fedi will be opened in the user's home instance.

Has anyone already done this and if so what was the prefix you used? We might as well all use the same thing. I'm thinking
web+fedi. -

I am not sure why they did not settle on protocol handlers but I've tagged him for comment

The concept sounds excellent, although there is fairly limited mobile support.
Since NodeBB is an installable PWA it would be definitely nice to have it supported there as well.

@emanuelecariati Hai ragione, forse dovremmo promuovere Mastodon nel suo complesso. Io però temo che le persone siano scoraggiate quando entrano nelle piccole istanze, perché fanno più fatica a trovare contenuti interessanti. Solo con il tempo e la pazienza si riesce a costruirsi la propria rete.. Invece con le istanze grandi hai subito una timeline molto ricca out of the box

julian I switched over to the latest develop commit last night and left it to see if that post from fairy.id would reappear.
Now, posts are not coming into recent?cid=-1, except for profiles that I am following and any boosted posts from those followed profiles.I have hit 'Rebuild & Restart' and even done ./nodebb stop and ./nodebb start
