@RavenLuni That's a fair question, and I don't have a solid answer right now. It's been a long time since I hired anyone, so I'm asking people to give me their hourly rate when they reach out.

Do you think that's okay? Or should I just pick a number and run with it?

Thank you! And yes, too many "of them derned kids" lean too heavily on frameworks. So far, all of my work is by hand. It's a little too raw because of it, but people are shocked at how fast a webpage can be without 12MB of junk piled onto it. :)

@benpate It's the same story on the App Store. So many simple iOS apps are bloated with third-party libraries when native Swift works just fine. Keeping my apps free of heavy dependencies is the only way I've managed to ship and maintain 27 of them as a solo dev.
