I've thought about joining the NDP to vote because I feel we need a strong progressive alternative.
I reached out to 4/5 candidates about very simple matters and heard from none of them. That doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence in their ability to rebuild.
I'm not sure if you are connected to any of the campaigns or the federal office, but if you are please pass this along. I say this as someone who wants to see the NDP to succeed and as someone who has often voted NDP
Being LGBTQ in a rural place and an artist doesn't always feel simple or safe.
When times are tough, words fail, or I feel powerless, clay is my language, creation is my resistance and colour is my joy.
'Axion' is a sculpture from my series 'Liminal Dreams'.
Named after a hypothetical particle proposed to resolve enigmas in physics, the piece embodies the elegance of invisible forces that bind, hold, and balance matter in a perpetual dance of motion and stillness.
Due to climate change, drought and a 4 month fire ban, I could not fire additional pieces in this series until recently.

As the holidays approach, we are still here, creating art.
As the world burns, it seems only appropriate we are making raku, if only as a reminder that from fire comes new life.
