I always thought those "for dummies" books were oddly titled.I always thought those "for dummies" books were oddly titled. I'd rather write a book "Futhark for the Handsome and Witty". But then one of my friends pointed out that maybe those titles do sell, and it's a better strategy to double down and write e.g. "JavaScript for Idiots" or "Friendless Racists' Intro to C#".
