Toronto peeps, about that utility bill thing I posted about earlier. I got a call this evening from the City, about 6:10 believe it or not, and the rep told me they weren't charging the late fee. So, if you think you missed the due date because of the postal strike, you'll get a credit on your next bill. Cool huh?

Toronto peeps.Toronto peeps. Postal strike/disruption or not, you still have to pay your utility and property tax on time. I signed up for eBilling on the utility side on September 27. The paper bill was sent out on the 25th. I did not receive the ebill. Checked my account today online, overdue. Waited 15 minutes on hold, only to hear that 'we have nothing in place for that'. Paid the full bill, overdue charge and all. Guess what arrived just now in my paper mailbox?
