It's a sunny, very cold morning, way too cold to take the camera outside into -22°C.
Before the big freeze I found this beautiful Tree Lungwort (Lobaria pulmonaria) in an old-growth forest surrounding a lake. -
First snowshoe walk of the winter.First snowshoe walk of the winter. Testing the ice, promptly broke through where the beavers built a dam. Feet stayed dry but dam(n) beavers! 😒
Also, yodelling for the local chickadees, one came and quickly went into action hiding every seed away.
We left a filled feeder behind. I hope next time there will be more birds.
