I found this out by accident after failing to get a resolution to a query - both Itch and PayPal said it was the other side causing the issue.

(I don't know for sure this is what caused the issue, but it's one hell of a coincidence!)

**Note to any developer on Itch** - go to Account Settings > Payment Processors - if you're linked to the legacy service, remove this and re-connect to PayPal.

If like me you've been on Itch forever, you may be on the legacy connection and payout attempts may fail.
