@hacks4pancakes I was in a Chicago hotel last night, and a guy had just got in after an overnight flight and meetings all day.

He was talking to the bartender and relayed some effect he was seeing at home. In the large and busy hotel bar he loudly yelled, “I’m sorry man but F T.”

Folks looked, but I didn’t see a single expression of objection on any face in the room. I’m not sure it would have gone over the same way in 2017 and I derive the slightest hope from that.

@raganwald Admittedly, if I were in my early 20s and they also provided Open Snack Bar, I would probably do it. Would crush a half dozen hotdogs or something.

@raganwald Their sycophantic obligations require they provide pictures of packed theaters to keep someone in a good mood.

I love scifi, even when it's campy. This is great.
