    @masek I think it can be even worse. Everything can report green on a tester like that but the quality of the shielding in the cable may make it so you dont get full speeds on the cable, as some traffic will go to error correcting.

    This is why cable testers like this exist : https://www.totalphase.com/products/advanced-cable-tester-v2/ to actually test the speeds provided. Crazy how wild west USB-C is.
