@BramMeehan Yep, you can go to about:policies in Firefox or chrome://policy/ in Edge/Chrome to see all the active group policies

@Cykelero I haven't checked if Safari has any useful options hidden behind management policies. There's also less of a need for forced settings because AFAIK it doesn't quietly revert your settings later, like Edge does.

@thomas Android support and more Linux browsers would be cool, I've made issues for them: https://github.com/corbindavenport/just-the-browser/issues

@yoasif Glad it helped! And yeah, my original Edge config that spawned this idea was much longer and more tailored to what I use specifically.

Browsers have also removed a few features lately that would have otherwise gone in these lists, like Pocket in FF, Privacy Sandbox in Chrome, the sidebar minigames in Edge, etc.

@kajer That is what they were made for! Leaving telemetry/logging enabled is usually a good idea for real enterprise environments though

I'm excited to release Just the Browser! It helps you remove AI features, sponsored content, shopping integrations, and other annoyances from desktop web browsers.

This project includes configuration files (group policies), a simple setup script, and guides for manual installation. It supports Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Everything is open-source on GitHub.

Microsoft's new "vibe working" AI feature in Excel fails at 42% of tasks. The regular Copilot feature fails at 80% of tasks. This information is in the same blog post *Microsoft itself* published that also called it "like you’re handing off work to an Excel expert." 🫠
