@aeva (having not used krita before) is there even so much of an overlap? If I think about things I would be doing with the GNU thing, none of them would be painting?
And while I am here, if you want, since you seem to have shopped around, what are some alternatives for the image editing side of things to it?

the krita manual has a section called "Introduction Coming From Other Software" which has two different tutorials and neither of them are for the GNU Ableist Slur, which I think is some incredible shade to be throwing on the GNU Ableist Slur
