This argument is a new low for an already egregiously overreaching prosecution.
If the judge grants the bogus motion, it will take away a decision that should be up to the jury and erode the Prairieland Defendants’ right to a fair trial even further.

Late on Friday the prosecution submitted a motion to the court to tie Song's defense attorney's hands behind his back. The prosecution asked the judge to bar any defense argument based on self-defense or defense of others. This argument has been implied in court the first week and gained traction during cross examination, especially after the cop in question admitted to drawing his gun on someone who was running away with their back turned.
