Why are we not working 15-hours a week as John Maynard Keynes predicted?

This is related to what David Graeber calls: 'Bullshit Jobs.'

Hannah Arendt saw the terror of Nazis in the 1920s and 30s and was imprisoned by the Gestapo.

She knew the importance of standing up to Fascism and to Fascist Terror.

If John Pilger was around today, he'd have a lot to say about the Venezuela situation.

During times like this, the wisdom of John Pilger is very much needed.

Just imagine.

We could house everyone. We could feed everyone. We could care for everyone. We could build devices designed to last as long as possible. We could align our manufacturing around the needs of the people and the planet.

We materially have the resources to do so.

That's why leftists are so angry. The resources we need to build a world everyone can thrive in literally already exist. We are just using them mostly to pamper the rich or murder the poor.

Is this new system we are moving to even Capitalism,

or is just Feudalism with modern technology?

Politics must be more than a choice between a Corporate Democrat and a Trumpist Fascist.

Dancing frogs have become a symbol of resistance in the USA.

Interestingly, over a decade ago David Graeber wrote a piece on the power of such symbols in protest movements.

The piece is called - On the Phenomenology of Giant Puppets. Here is an extract.

against violence they bring the threat of violence to situations where it'd never

no license plates: how long it'll be before you're surrounded by people
with weapons."
