@jdelacueva @EUCommission my knowledge is at least 10/15 years old, but this might be not your bank’s stupid requirement, it’s one of Visa’s or Mastercard’s. I had to be certified by Visa/Mastercad/Amex to do eft interfaces, not by banks. And when specific transactions were declined I had to contact specific departments and read pages of docs till I find the clause that says exactly the opposite than they were telling me for several days…

@LianaBrooks mastadon & technically linked in (only as job add site). Never learned to use any of the social apps for social suff, hence using it as my news source in the morning, and for an occasional scream into the abyss therapy session. I guess it works for that;)

@sundogplanets correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this https://arxiv.org/pdf/2512.09643 kind of saying that we have at most 11 years (another solar maximum cycle) to basically have 100% probability of a Kessler syndrome more or less locking us from accessing LEO (at least with humans aboard) … and screwing up astronoy for years AND dumping bunch of interesting stuff into the upper layers of atmosphere? If yes - Why The F”&£ we are still allowing any mega-constellations and not downing the ones in orbit?
