I'm now reading Stewart Home's _Fascist Yoga_ and wow. I knew that most of what is taught as "belly dance" in the US was made up in the US, but it would seem that most of what is taught as "yoga" in the west was made up by western charlatans as well, and as the title of the book says, influenced by 20th Century fascists. Yipes.
