Musk, on the other hand, is actively trying (and succeeding at) influencing global politics, social consensus, the Overton window, etc. He owns and actively influences the discourse on one of the biggest social media sites in the world, finances and promotes fascists worldwide (like the AfD in Germany), etc.
I'll admit, when you're not in a position where your human rights are being debated, Thiel and his surveillance may be more of a threat, but to marginalized communities, Musk is far worse.
