Meanwhile, the company behind Milka and Oreo sold nearly 10,000 tons of chocolate in Russia in early 2024—six times more than planned. $1.4 billion a year. Every bar sold in Russia is taxed. Those taxes pay soldiers and buy missiles.

Ukraine marks Holodomor Remembrance Day on 22 November. Ukrainians worldwide remember the victims of the 1932-33 famine engineered by Stalin. At least 4 million starved to death. 28,000 died daily.
The USSR suppressed evidence of the Holodomor & prohibited discussion of the famine. Russia continues to deny or minimize the Holodomor today.
