> cozy zombie and postapoc
Did you read books of Andrej Kruz (Андрей Круз), especially the series "Land of dead" ("Земля мёртвых") and "I'm going home" ("Я еду домой")? If not, then I recommend these!
The author is a great fun of guns and civil guns' ownership, obviously not a stateist and legalist — so his books free from some dumb cliches of postapoc literature (especially Russian postapoc literature). His heroes survive because they united and well prepared (went to the hikes a lot before, owned civil guns and trained with these guns at least in shooting range, didn't rely on the failed state, etc) — so there are no some "surivalists" who was sitting on the sofa for last decade, then suddenly successfully survived from zombies with fork, attached to the pole with ducktape 🤭.
Also, the zombies in the mentioned series are fast and furious because, you know, classic zombie apocalypse with slow zombies not so danger if you have a big well-prepared "tribe" with right mindset and right guns and skills in the well fortified place with tons of ammunition.
And there are no classic problem of Russian postapoc literature — pages full of some shitty resentiment about fallen USSR and some shitty rants about "democracy", "human rights" and "liberalism" from an old fart who is even don't understand the meaning of these words and just repeat the TV propaganda in his texts.
Instead of it there are tons of very sexy descriptions of guns, ammunition and preparation processes . So, beware! You may become a gun owner after reading these books, I guarantee!🤭
