dark mode is not "the one for cool people"

many people can't read shit in dark mode

many people can't read shit in light mode

this is an accessibility issue

if a website starts out in dark mode i fumble for the settings until i can switch to light mode. but if i fumble around and there is nothing, then... i can't fucking see

imagine someone smeared vaseline on your car windshield and you were trying to drive at night

this is astigmatism trying to read shit in dark mode

dku has moved their weeknight stream to kick dot com as they keep getting removed from twitch. i thought hmm maybe this is a viable alternative

but they only have dark mode. i can't fucking read anything

i will just use it to watch this one channel and i won't be able to participate in the chat
