@smallcircles@social.coop I'm not at all surprised that the Hacker News crowd is so pro-Bluesky, coming to its defense in the comments. I know that those commenters aren't the same as the AP critics, but it certainly does seem like they give BlueSky and ATProto the widest benefit of the doubt, while at the same time criticizing ActivityPub for the smallest of faults.

@reiver@mastodon.social Mastodon can, and that's what the long form text FEP enables. If you set a summary, Mastodon will faithfully show it, even for Article types.
