Texas banning lab-grown meat is another example of how conservatism isn’t just dumb, it’s *just not going to work*.@krismicinski @nemo It would be possible to produce a small amount of meat in a relatively humane way. So one compromise would be to go that route, where meat becomes not the main part of a meal.

These are sentient beings. There is a reason why documenting what goes in factory farms is often illegal. On the other hand, we're now being told by the Trump admin that treating people this way is also OK, and a significant minority of USAians is buying this.
