@ginabythebay when you select which talks you want to attend, if you have second choices save them on the app, as ypu *will* miss some talk because the room is already full.If you don't think you'll want to ask questions / interact with the speaker, the best way to see a talk is often on the stream / recordings, so finding the room full is not a big deal. On the other hand, if you do think you'll want to interact, getting in the room a talk or two earlier may be your best choice.Leave plenty of time in your schedule to visit the booths and talk with people in the corridors, as that's the part of FOSDEM that can't be had remotely.Wear layered clothing: the outdoor weather will throw *everything* at you, and the indoor weather will be quite a thing too (too warm and stuffy); natural fibers will help staying comfortable and not smell too much.And of course, mask.
