I hope I'm alive long enough to hear historians try to explain our current political climate.@RickiTarr A demonstrator interviewed at the recent "Rode lijn" (Red Line) protest in Amsterdam said he was "not the type of person who protests", but then he imagined all the people saying that in WW2 and he knew he wanted to be able to say he did not do nothing.

This is true for all bullies. If your boss / coworker uses intimidation or threats, if it's safe to do so, file a complaint. Don't do it as revenge or hoping that it magically stops long-established and -enabled behaviour, but do it as part of building a portfolio of evidence against them so that later on those in authority cannot say they did not know.Make life as inconvenient as possible for those who choose to use power to be violent or oppressive to others.
