Going all in with GenAI, the case study.A thing being repeated across businesses worldwide, including at Microsoft, is C level execs struggling to know why most staff aren’t using Copilot for M365, despite how much it costs.
Because most staff don’t spend all day in Teams meetings reading out PowerPoint slides to people who pretend to care. They have actual jobs. Doing work. Which they know how to do. Because it is their job.

Going all in with GenAI, the case study. In fairness, with GenAI you can accelerate things - eg the business directly into a wall.

Today in InfoSec Job Security News:Today in InfoSec Job Security News:
I was looking into an obvious ../.. vulnerability introduced into a major web framework today, and it was committed by username Claude on GitHub. Vibe coded, basically.
So I started looking through Claude commits on GitHub, there’s over 2m of them and it’s about 5% of all open source code this month.
https://github.com/search?q=author%3Aclaude&type=commits&s=author-date&o=desc
As I looked through the code I saw the same class of vulns being introduced over, and over, again - several a minute.

I was wondering when a reporter would uncover this. It's not just the FBI, btw - MS accepts valid law enforcement request internationally. Also it's not just BitLocker.

So BitLocker is super secure, right? Well... BitLocker recovery keys are backed up to Microsoft's Cloud - and they give them out to law enforcement on request. Using the BitLocker recovery key, you can just unlock the device without a PIN etc.

For anybody following the saga of my balls, the good news is they don’t think it’s cancer. You haven’t lived til you’ve seen an ultrasound doctor do this while scanning your bollocks

For anybody following the saga of my balls, the good news is they don’t think it’s cancer. For anybody following the saga of my balls, the good news is they don’t think it’s cancer. I have highly unusual balls I’m told, where there’s about 15 small developmental cysts on each that are just chilling and have probably been there a long time (from fetal growth).
Also don’t be afraid of getting your balls checked out, I had three ultrasounds and all were painless and not embarrassing. I have a ton of funny stories too, eg the Windows ultrasound box rebooting for security updates mid scan
