@CTGT There are massive flotillas of them around here this time of year--it's so good.

@leguinian_utopia I found the scene really jolting, too--the light was so weird that the marsh looked like some sort of stage and the birds a special effect or somesuch. It was almost supernatural rather than just stormy.
