As of today libxml2 is unmaintained.The maintainer removed themselves from the list and it appears no other being picked up the torch.A quick glance at the arch repository reveals that a decent amount of other packages depend on libxml2.Oh well: Thanks Apple! ( It started with them integrating libxml2 as a core component of their OSes... And the expecting free work )
