“The Sex Pistols made their live debut at St Martin’s School Of Art in central London on November 6, 1975, supporting a band called Bazooka Joe, which included Stuart Goddard / Adam Ant, John Ellis of The Vibrators, Danny Kleinman.

This was the first appearance for the upstart punks, composed of singer Johnny Rotten, guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook, and bassist Glen Matlock. It was Matlock, a student at Saint Martins, who had obtained the gig.”
