Remember kids, rich people are not smarter than you, they are just much (much) richer.
And yes, very rich people investing a lot of money on clearly unfeasible projects is good, because it is a way to get a lot of very smart people to tell you where the problems are. And knowing where the problems are is the starting point to make any progress.
@ColinTheMathmo Violating the Brexit accords with the EU is going to be a boodbath. But the real kicker would be Northern Ireland.
I could never have been a physicist (ok, a natural philosopher) in the XVII century, because you needed to be at least half decent at drawing to make your figures.
