me who was an idiot - should just have said "object storage", s3 is what amazon call their object storage provider.

@aeva @eleanor s3 is more of a protocol at this point :) eg. i use hetzner (european datacenter)

@eleanor @aeva this does require some initial setup but honestly with s3 object storage (literally any provider) it is like 1 command to upload and 1 command to encrypt..

but like if you dont roleplay devops in your pasttime you might need like 30-60 mins of hand holding the initial setup.
