Michael Berkman MP (my MP!) says:
"If you lost power for more than 18 consecutive hours, you’re eligible for a $150 rebate through Energex’s Guaranteed Service Level payments. There's been some confusing communication from Energex on compensation, but I can confirm that those affected by Sunday's storms are eligible for the $150 rebate."
Our power was off 58 hours. I think Energex is quite clear that it doesn't cover storms, personally, but the form is two minutes to fill in if you have a recent electricity bill handy, so worthwhile. They can’t say no to an MP, I guess.
