I think people are getting the wrong lesson from AWS and Cloudflare outages. Yes, tech shouldn't be consolidated into near monopolies. But the real lesson is that consolidation is bad for *everything* in every industry. Monopolies are always bad. The capitalism that leads to monopolies is equally so. Important infrastructure of any kind should not be operated at the whim of capitalists. It should be public.

I saw a post complaining that the term "gaslighting" is being overused. It is not. The practice is being over used, not the term.

Fascism isn't just randomly rising all around the world at once. It's the same billionaires making it happen all over the world. Go after the billionaires! They've declared war on the rest of us. We'd better return the favor if we want to survive.
